Akke Roti recipe - How to make Akke Roti

Ingredients
2 cups rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/2 cup freshly grated coconut
2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
salt to taste
oil for cooking
Method
    Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well and knead into a soft dough, using enough water.
  2. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll out each portion between thin sheets of plastic, into a circle of 6" diameter, using the flour for rolling.
  3. Heat a tava and cook each roti, using little oil, till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.
  4. Serve hot with chutney or tea.
