If you like dhaniya add a little for garnishing.
if required you can add extra water to daal at the time of frying it.
this dish is good for summer.

Aam waali khatti daal recipe - How to make Aam waali khatti daal
Cooking Time: Total Time:
1 raw mango sliced (150 gms - 250 gms)
3 cups water
1 cup arahar daal
1 tblsp ghee
1 tea spoon kalonji
1/2 tea spoon saunf
1/2 tea spoon jeera
1/2 tea spoon heeng
2-3 sukhi laal mirch
1/2 tea spoon haldi salt to taste
1 tea spoon sugar
- Boil daal with water and mango for about 10 mins
- 1. heat ghee in a pan
- 2. add sukhi mirch to it
- 3. now add heeng, jeera, kalonji, saunf, haldi and fry these all on full flame for about 1 min.
- 4. add boiled daal to this and add salt and sugar to it.
- Serve it with steamed rice
