Paneer (Low Calorie)





PANEER (LOW CALORIE)





Cooking Time : 10 min.
Preparation Time : 5 min.

Makes 100 grams.

Ingredients
1 litre skim milk
juice of 1 lemon or 1 cup fresh curds
Method
1.

Put the milk to boil. When it starts boiling, remove from the heat and wait for 2 to 3 minutes. Then, add the lemon juice and stir gently till all the milk curdles.

2.

Leave covered for some time. Then, pour over a thin muslin cloth and drain out the whey.

3.

Cover with a cloth and place a weight on top to drain out the water.

4.

Cut into piecs or crumbles as required.

5.

Note : Use of curds gives smoother paneer.

Tips
Health Information :
This type of paneer has a lot of proteins with very little fat.
It is also rich in Vitamin B12, calcium, phosphorous and zinc.
