Ingredients
2 cups iceberg lettuce leaves , torn into small pieces
1 cup roughly chopped tomatoes
1 cup roughly chopped cucumber
1/2 cup quartered and blanched mushrooms (khumbh)
1/2 cup capsicum cubes

To Be Mixed Together Into A Basil Dressing
2 tbsp chopped fresh basil leaves
2 tsp crushed garlic (lehsun)
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp olive oil
1/2 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
salt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste
Method
    Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients along with the dressing in a bowl and toss well.
  2. Serve immediately.

Can i use coriander insted of basil leaves

I was tired of eating only cucumber, carrot and tomato in pre-lunch salad. Mushrooms and lettuce gave my salad a new taste. And garlic was a twisting factor. loved it.
