Description
Cracked seeds are called Methi na Kuria. Methia derives it name from methi kuria (crushed fenugreek seeds). This is a spicy pickle which is amazingly simple to make.

How to Select
It is readily available in the market. Select carefully, noting the colour and aroma of the spice.

Culinary Uses
· Raw mangoes dressed with salt and turmeric powder are then combined with equal quantities of chilli powder, split fenugreek seeds, mustard oil and sea salt.
Methia Keri is an ideal accompaniment for almost all meals and is also prepared in a jiffy.
· The split seeds are used with a combination of split mustard seeds in pickles
· It imparts a very aromatic and spicy taste to curries.
· They give a nice perky flavor to even the blandest of things.

How to Store
It can keep for a year or more, in an air tight container, unrefrigerated.
