This was a great snack for my kid. She loved it lot. Thank you tarla ma''am for this wonderful healthy eating option. The Crispyness of the chikki makes it favorite of all at home.

dont know what went wrong 1.jaggery did not melt so had to add a bit of water 2.then the whole thing just crumbled...did not keep its shape at all - just became granola 3. the taste is good though am game to try again if anyone can tell me what went wrong

Tarla Dalal    Hi Arati, Chop the jaggery well before you stary melting. You can use the powdered variety which is easily available in the market. Do not add water becuase it will alter the texture of the chikkis.

too good... my kiddo enjoyed every munch of this crunchy healthy snack. this chikki is on high demand amongst her friends. it can be made in advance and hence suits me as i can make and store it when time permits.
