A basic white sauce recipe made with plain flour, milk and butter. Use in bake dishes. Quick and easy to make.

  1. Melt the butter.
  2. Add the flour and cook on a slow flame until froth appears, while stirring throughout.
  3. Add the milk gradually and stir continually until the sauce thickens.
  4. Add salt and pepper and mix well.
