A white sauce recipe for jains with no onions and garlic added. Made of plain flour, milk and butter.

Ingredients


1 1/2 cups milk
2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
2 tbsp butter or
salt and freshly ground black pepper powder to taste

Method
  1. Heat a pan and melt the butter in it.
  2. Add the flour and cook on a slow flame till frothy, while stirring continuously.
  3. Add the milk gradually and stir continuously till the sauce thickens.
  4. Add salt and pepper. Mix well and keep aside.
