Veg. Fried rice, chinese rice preparation. You can also make this recipe with the left over rice.

2 tbsp oil
2 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
1 cup finely chopped spring onions
1/4 cup finely chopped french beans
1/4 cup carrot cubes
1/4 cup green peas
2 tbsp chopped celery
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp vinegar
1 tbsp chilli sauce
salt to taste
2 cups steamed rice

  1. Apply 1 tbsp oil to the steamed rice and keep aside.
  2. Heat the remaining oil in the pan, add the garlic and spring onions and saute till the onion whites are light brown.
  3. Add the beans, carrots, peas and celery and cook till all vegetables are ‘bite-like’.
  4. Add the soya sauce, vinegar, chilli sauce and salt, mix well and add the rice.
  5. Stir till the rice and vegetables are well mixed, cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
