Method

  1. Take fully ripe tomatoes, wash and cut them into pieces and cook for five minutes.
  2. Chop onion, garlic and ginger and add them to tomatoes along with vinegar and sugar.
  3. Cook until thick.
  4. Strain through a wire sieve and store in a sterilised glass bottle.
