An excellent combination of mixed beans tossed in a tantalizing blend of herb dressing. The beans constitute a perfect low calorie way to add fibre to your diet.

Ingredients


For The Salad
3 cups boiled beans ( choose from rajma (kidney beans) , chawli (cow pea / lobhia) ,
chick peas , boiled vaal (field beans/ butter beans) or hara chana (green chick peas) )
1/2 cup sliced spring onions
3/4 cup tomato cubes

To Be Mixed Into A Dressing
1 tsp oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped basil or
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp grated garlic (lehsun)
salt and to taste

For The Garnish
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)

Method
  1. Mix well all the ingredients together.
  2. Add in the dressing and mix well. Refrigerate till required.
  3. Serve chilled garnished with the chopped coriander.
