A tasty rice with the characteristic szechwan taste.

1 cup rice (chawal)
1 cup grated cabbage
1 cup grated carrot
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sliced red chillies , soaked in vinegar
2 tbsp refined oil
salt to taste

  1. Boil the rice. Each grain of the cooked rice should be separate. Cool for at least 2 hours.
  2. Heat the oil on a high flame and fry the cabbage and carrots for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the rice, red chillies, soya sauce and salt and mix well.
  4. Serve hot.
