Treat yourself with easy to prepare lip smacking sweet finger chips. The sweet finger chips are innovatively prepared by dipping golden fried bread fingers( bread slices cut into finger like pieces) in thick sugar syrup. An excellent tiffin recipe or a sweet snack dish.

Ingredients


1 packet bread
150 gms sugar
100 gms vanaspati or ghee
1 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
1/4 glass of water

Method


    Preparation:

    1. Slice the edges of the bread into finger like shapes.
    2. deep fry them in dalda or ghee till crispy.
    3. Take care not to burn the chips.
    4. Add water to the sugar and boil over a medium fire to make thick syrup.
    5. Add cardamom powder and fried finger chips into the syrup.
    6. remove the chips after one minute.
    7. Let it cool and serve.
