Suji ka Halwa is a mouthwatering and popular halwa recipe which is also commonly known as sheera. The roasted suji or semolina is stir fried in ghee and then cooked with water, sugar and chopped nuts.

Ingredients

250 gms semolina (rava)
200 gms sugar
3 to 4 cardamoms (elaichi)
cashewnuts (kaju) for decoration
almonds (badam) foe decoration
2 cups milk
1 banana
water as required
150 gms ghee
Method


  1. Fry rava upto it colour light brown, then add ghee as per requirement.
  2. Boil water & milk aside.
  3. Add banana (cut in small pcs), sugar & elayachi in rava & mix well.
  4. Then add boiled water & milk in rava keep the same on low gas to cook well
  5. Then decorate the same with kaju, badam, kismis etc.
