Ingredients


To Be Grind Into Smooth Paste
10 to 15 cashewnuts (kaju) , soaked in water for few minutes
2 to 3 almonds (badam) , soaked for few minutes
1 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)
3 to 4 tbsp grated coconut
1/2 cup curds (dahi)
1/4 cup coriander (dhania)
2 green chillies
salt to taste

Other Ingredients
1 cup yam (suran) , cut into small sized cubes
1 tbsp chilli powder
2 tbsp oil

Method
  1. Heat the oil in a pan, add the chilli powder, suran and 1 glass of water and simmer till the suran is soft.
  2. Add the prepared paste, mix well and simmer for 10 minutes. Make sure that the gravy is not too watery, remove from the flame.
  3. Serve hot.
