Sugar snap pea vegetable

Ingredients


Sugar snap peas – 2 cups, sliced on an angle
Onion – 1, sliced
Tomato – 2, chopped
Garlic – 2 cloves, finely chopped
Cumin seeds - jeera – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1½ tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
salt to taste
Oil – 2 tbsp

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan or kadhai
  2. Add cumin seeds, when they pop add onion and garlic, saute until onions turn soft.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes and saute till they turn soft and pulpy
  4. Now add the sugar snap peas and the cumin and chilli powders and saute for 3-4 minutes.
