Stuffed Pear Salad

A pleasing combination of pears, cream cheese and grapes.

Ingredients


1 small can (450 grams) pears or 6 large fresh pears
150 gms black grapes
2 1/4 cups curds (dahi)
1 tbsp fresh cream
1 tsp powdered sugar
salt to taste
lettuce

Method
  1. Putt the curds in a thin cloth.Tie and hang for 3 hours, allowing the water to drain out.
  2. Peel, halve and core the pears.
  3. Slice the grapes and remove the pips.
  4. Add the cream, sugar and salt to the curds.
  5. Fill the pears with the curds mixture and if you like, put this mixture between the grapes also.
  6. Arrange each half pear on a crisp lettuce leaf and put the grapes on top.
  7. Serve cold.
