Strawberry Peach Flan

An exotic combination of peaches, strawberry and praline make this pudding a party hit.

Ingredients

Method
  1. Grease and dust a 225 mm. (9") diameter flan tin and fill with the sponge mixture.
  2. Bake in hot oven at 400°F for 20 minutes.
  3. Cool.
  4. Chop the fruit and chill thoroughly. Keep aside the syrup.
  5. Pour a little syrup over the flan and allow to soak. Repeat after 10 minutes. Be sure that the flan is moist.
  6. Beat the cream with the sugar until thick.
  7. Spread one-third of the cream over the flan.
  8. Fill the flan with the chopped fruits.
  9. Pipe the balance cream over the sides and over the fruits.
  10. Sprinkle praline powder over the fruits and apply with a knife on the sides also.
  11. Serve cold.

Tips
  1. VARIATION : STRAWBERRY PEACH FLAN (EGGLESS)
  2. Proceed as above using eggless sponge cake mixture instead of fatless sponge mixtue.
