A non-traditional stuffing for dosa.

Cooking Time: 10 min.
Makes 16 small dosas.

Ingredients

2 onions, chopped
1 capsicum, chopped
3/4 cup cabbage, chopped
Dosa batter as for dosa
oil or ghee for frying
a little chaat masala
1 tbsp butter

To serve
Green Chutney

Method

Heat a non-stick tava and grease lightly with ghee. When hot, sprinkle a little water, pour 2 to 3 tablespoons of the dosa batter on the tava and cook on one side.
Mix the chutney and butter and apply over the dosa while still on the tava.
Spread the chopped vegetables over the dosa, sprinkle a little chaat masala over the vegetables and cook until the dosa is golden brown in colour.
Roll the dosa over into a cylindrical shape and cut into small pieces. If you like, serve with sambar and chutney.

Excellent variation of the good old Dosa. Once I excelled at the trick of spreading the batter on the hot pan, the rest was a cakewalk! Tastes great even without the sambhar etc. Saves so much time! Thank you very much :)
