Mint has always been held in a high position in traditional medicine, for its ability to cleanse the system and assist digestion. This juice helps rid our body of the toxins that accumulate in the digestive tract, and therefore aids weight loss.

Ingredients

25 to 30 spinach leaves
20 mint sprigs, with the leaves
15 coriander (dhania) sprigs , with the leaves
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp jal-jeera powder (optional)
crushed ice to serve

Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients together and blend in a mixer till smooth, using little water if required. Strain the juice using a strainer. Add the lemon juice and jal-jeera powder and mix well.
  2. Place some crushed ice in 4 individual glasses and pour equal quantity of the juice over it. Serve immediately.
