Spicy Peach Ice-Cream

Just a hint of cinnamon adds a spicy note to this ice-cream which has a full bodied flavour of peaches and is simply marvelous.

Ingredients


1 large can (850 grams) peaches
1 can (400 grams) condensed milk
4 1/2 cups milk
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon (dalchini) powder
sugar to taste (if required)

Method
  1. Blend the peaches with the syrup from the can in a liquidiser.
  2. Mix the milk, condensed milk, peaches, lemon juice and most of the cinnamon powder. Taste and add sugar as required.
  3. Mix well and pour into a shallow container. Cover and freeze till it is almost set.
  4. Divide the mixture into 2 batches and churn each batch separately in a blender till it is smooth.
  5. Transfer both batches into a shallow container. Cover and freeze till firm. Scoop and serve.
