This is milk extracted from soaked soya beans, just like coconut milk is extracted from coconut. Use soya milk immediately as it emits a pungent odour if stored for long.

Ingredients
1 cup soyabeans
Method
  1. Wash and soak the soya beans in water for at least 3 hours.
  2. Drain out all the water.
  3. Blend in a mixer with 3 cups of water to a fine puree.
  4. Strain through a fine strainer to extract the milk.
  5. Do not keep this milk for very long as it emits an odour after an hour or so. Best if used immediately.

The milk is good but more so, I mistakenly left it to stay over night and it turned into yoghurt - a very delicious one for that matter
