Simple and Tasty Mysore Pak

It is traditional sweet in south india. All the age group will like this sweet. Kids love it very much. And protein rich also.

1 cup of besan (bengal gram flour)
2 cups sugar
2 1/2 cups ghee
1 cup water

  1. Dry roast the besan for 2 minutes.
  2. Heat a kadhai and add the sugar and water and mix well. Bring to boil till sugar melts completely.
  3. Mean while heat the ghee in another pan and add the remove from the flame.
  4. Once the sugar melted add besan and mix well without lumps form.
  5. Add ghee 6 to 7 times and mix well till the ghee comes out from the besan.
  6. Remove from the flame and transfer in a greased thali.
  7. Allow it to cool .
  8. Cut in any shape as you like.
