Shrikhand recipe - How to make Shrikhand

Preparation Time:  3 hours.   Cooking Time:  Nil.  & nbsp Serves 4.

  1. Hang the curds in a muslin cloth in a cool place for approximately 3 hours until all the liquid (whey) has drained off.
  2. Rub the saffron into the warm milk until it dissolves.
  3. Mix together the hung curds, sugar, saffron mixture and cardamom in a bowl and churn using a hand blender.
  4. Serve garnished with slivers of pistachicos and almonds.

  2. Add 1 cup of sliced strawberries instead of the saffron and cardamom powder at step 3.
  3. Adjust the sugar accroding to the sweetness of the strawberries.

Shrikhand one of my favourite, i always wonder if i could make shrikhand at home, how we get in the market, And here i get the recipe, which is not only better, but the best and awesome recipe, this is a must try recipe.
