Ingredients


1/2 cup fennel seeds (saunf)
1/2 cup sugar

Method
  1. Blend the fennel seeds and sugar to a fine powder.
  2. Combine this powder with 1 cup water in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 8 minutes stirring twice in between.
  3. Keep aside for about 10 minutes.
  4. Cool completely and stain through a sieve.
  5. Store refrigerated in an air-tight container.

How to proceed

  1. When you wish to serve, take 3 to 4 tablespoons of this mixture in a glass and top it with water and ice.
  2. Serve immediately.
