Rich Chocolate Sauce can be a best accompanied with many desserts.

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:     Makes 1 cup

1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
3/4 cup milk
100 gms chopped milk chocolate
3 tsp cocoa powder
200 gms (7 oz.) beaten cream
4 to 5 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla essence

  1. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the flour on a slow flame for 1/2 minute.
  2. Add the milk, chocolate pieces, cocoa powder, cream, sugar and 1 teacup of water. Mix well.
  3. Cook on a slow flame, stirring continuously until the mixture becomes thick.
  4. Add the vanilla essence, mix well.
  5. Use as per required.

Thanks for a good chocolate sauce recipe! It stays long once refrigerated and does not taste bitter or buttery unlike other recipes! :)
