Ingredients


For The Dough
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)

For The Stuffing
1 tbsp oil
2 tsp lemon juice
2 cups rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
2 green chillies , chopped
salt to taste
1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)

Other Ingredients
whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta) for rolling
oil for cooking

Method
For the dough

  1. Combine the wheat flour and salt and knead it into a smooth dough using enough water.
  2. Keep aside.

For the stuffing

  1. Heat the oil in a broad pan, add the cumin seeds, green chillies, ginger and lemon juice, mix well and saute for few seconds.
  2. Add 2 cups of water and when the water begins to boil, add rice flour and salt, mix well and cook till rice flour forms a smooth thick paste.
  3. Remove from the flame, divide the stuffing into equal portions and keep aside to cool.

How to proceed

  1. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out each portion into a 5" diameter circle.
  2. Place a portion of the stuffing at the center and cover it from all sides to seal tightly.
  3. Roll them again, using while wheat flour, into a paratha.
  4. Heat a tava, grease it with little oil and cook each paratha using little oil till golden brown from both the sides.
  5. Serve hot.
