The traditional rice chila made with buttermilk and cabbage, makes all the difference.

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:     Makes 8 chillas.

  1. Mix all the ingredients except the oil. If the mixture is thick, add a little extra buttermilk.
  2. Heat a non-stick tava and spread a little mixture on it while spreading a little oil on the side. Turn it over and cook on the other side. Repeat for the remaining mixture.
  3. Serve hot

Rice and vegetable chilas are spongy and tasty, makes a quick snack from left over cooked rice.
