Want to lose weight? here is a tasty way to satisfy your hunger pangs without any risk of adding to the inches. The red capsicum, carrot and apple juice is an attractive orange-coloured juice rich in fibre and vitamin a. The best part is that this juice can be made in any season as its ingredients are perennially available in the markets. Red capsicum contains an enzyme called “capsaicin” that increases your body's metabolism and stimulates the burning of fat—resulting in weight loss. Apart from being rich in vitamins, apple is also an excellent source of dietary fibre, which helps to remove excess fat from the body. Make sure you do not peel the apples as all the fibre is in the peels. Carrots are considered to be excellent source of beta-carotene, which is essential for healthy eyes and skin. It also imparts a natural sweetness to the juice.
- Add the red capsicum cubes, carrot cubes and apple cubes a few at a time in the hopper.
- Add some crushed ice in 2 individual glasses and pour equal quantities of the juice over it.
- Serve immediately.
- This recipe doesn’t turn out good in a juicer because the textures of ingredients are very hard.
