Rajma Burger, Burger is an all time favourite snacks of kids and elders, but try this rajma tikki stuffed burger.

Makes 3 burgers


Ingredients


For The Rajma Tikki
4 boiled potatoes
1 cup boiled rajma (kidney beans)
2 soaked slices of bread
2 tbsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
1 tsp green chilli paste
2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp freshly ground black pepper powder
1 chopped onions
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
chaat masala to taste
coriander (dhania) seeds powderd to taste
garam masala to taste
oil for deep frying

Other Ingredients
3 burger buns
2 tbsp butter
3 tsp mustard (rai/ sarson) sauce
3 tsp green chutney
3 lettuce
3 slice onions
6 slice tomatoes
6 slice cucumber
3 cheese slice

For The Serving

Method
For The Rajma Tikki

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mash it thoroughly. Mix well.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portion and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  3. Roll the mixture into a ball and flatten the tikki, to get a thick round disc.
  4. Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry the tikkis till it turn to golden brown from both the sides.
  5. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  6. Remove on absorbent paper and keep aside.

How to proceed

  1. Cut each bun horizontally into two and toast the buns in the oven or on the tava, using little butter.
  2. Spread 1 tsp of mustard sauce on the lower half of the the each buns.
  3. Place 1 round shape lettuce on each of the bun and top with rajma tikki, 1 onion slice , 2 tomato slice , 2 cucumber and 1 cheese slice on each buns.
  4. Spread 1 tsp of green chutney on each top remaining buns and put it above the cheese slice and close the burger.
  5. Serve immediately with tomato sauce.
