Of course you need to give it some hours to set, but that is all there is to making this Quick Vanilla Ice-Cream! Not a minute’s cooking is required. Just mix all the ingredients together, freeze and blend. It’s as simple as that. The use of fresh cream and milk powder gives the ice-cream a rich consistency without requiring you to boil and condense the milk for long.

Ingredients

2 cups milk
1 cup milk powder
1/2 cup fresh cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence

Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and whisk well.
  2. Pour the mixture into a shallow aluminium container. Cover with an aluminium foil and freeze for 6 hours or till semi-set.
  3. Pour the mixture into a mixer and blend till smooth.
  4. Transfer the mixture back into the same aluminium shallow container. Cover with an aluminium foil and freeze for approx. 10 hours or till set.
  5. Scoop and serve.

A perfect vanilla ice cream, as we get in the market. Creamy, rich, smooth and delicately flavored. It is so easy and quick to prepare. I enjoy this ice cream topped with melted chocalate.
