With a simple tomato base and common spices, the focus is definitely on the potatoes! although very easy to make, this quick potato curry is an ever-popular dish that is frequently made in most households, especially if there are children around.
- Heat the oil in a non-stick kadhai, add the cinnamon, cloves and cardamom and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.
- Add the prepared paste and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Add the fresh cream, sugar, salt and potatoes, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Serve hot.
