Quick Orange Mousse

Ingredients


1 packet (100 grams) orange jelly
1 family pack (/2 litre) vanilla ice-cream
1 tsp lemon juice
a few drops orange essence or orange colour
sweetened cream for decoration

Method
  1. Dissolve the jelly in 3 teacups of boiling water.
  2. Pour over the ice-cream and place over the ice. Add the lemon juice and beat continuously until light and fluffy. Add the orange essence.
  3. Pour into individual tall glasses and put to set in the refrigerator.
  4. Just before serving, decorate with sweetened cream.
  5. Serve cold.
