Ingredients
2 cups thickly grated carrot
2 tbsp ghee
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
1 tbsp almond (badam) slivers
Method
  1. Heat the ghee in a pressure cooker, add the carrots and sauté on a medium flame for1 minute, while stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the milk, mix well and pressure cook for 1 whistle.
  3. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
  4. Add the sugar , mix well and cook on high flame for 4 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  5. Add the cardamom powder and almond slivers, mix well.
  6. Serve hot.
