Quick Corn Soup

Ingredients


3/4 teacup canned corn or frozen, precooked, tender corn
1 onion, finely chopped
2 1/4 cups milk
1 1/2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1 tbsp butter
salt and black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste

Method
  1. Mix the milk, 3 teacups of water and the flour.
  2. Put the butter in a glass bowl and microwave on HIGH for 1 minute, stirring once in-between after 30 seconds
  3. Add the flour mixture and the corn and microwave on HIGH for about 4 to 5 minutes, stirring in-between after every 1 minute. While stirring, check each time that the soup does not stick to the bottom of the vessel.
  4. Add salt and pepper.

Tips
  1. Serve hot.
