A creamy pumpkin soup flavoured with dill seeds.

Ingredients

Method
  1. Heat the butter in a saucepan, add the dill seeds and onions and saute for a few minutes.
  2. Add the pumpkin pieces and stir for a few minutes.
  3. Add 3 to 4 cups of water, salt and pepper and cook till the pumpkin is tender.
  4. Puree the soup in a blender till smooth.
  5. Add the cream and bring to a boil once again.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with spring onion greens.

Tips
  1. Strain the pureed soup, if you want a really smooth soup.
