1/3 cup broken almonds or cashewnuts (kaju) or peanuts
1/2 cup sugar

  1. Melt the sugar in a heavy saucepan on a slow flame. Add the nuts and mix well.
  2. Spread the mixture on a tin and allow to cool.
  3. Powder coarsely and store in an air-tight jar.
