Small potatoes barbequed in spicy green gravy.

Ingredients


1 kg baby potatoes
1 tbsp fresh curds (dahi)
salt to taste

To be ground into a chutney
3/4 cup chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
4 green chillies
1 tsp lemon juice
salt to taste

Method
  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water, making sure not to overlook them. Peel.
  2. Add the curds to the chutney.
  3. Marinate the potatoes in the chutney mixture for 1 hour.
  4. Apply a little chutney mixture on the potatoes and arrange on skewers.
  5. Cook on a hot charcoal sigri for a few minutes.
  6. Serve hot.

Tips
  1. If you like a minty taste in your chutney, add 1 teacup of fresh mint to it.
