Ingredients


450 gms firm plums
3/4 tsp lemon juice
6 tbsp sugar
2 small sticks cinnamon (dalchini)
2 tsp levelled, cornflour
Vanilla Ice-Cream to serve

Method
  1. Peel the plums and slice them.
  2. Add the lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon and cloves.
  3. Mix the cornflour in 3/4 teacup of water and add to the plums.
  4. Cook for a few minutes until soft.
  5. Chill thoroughly.
  6. In each parfait glass, place two alternate layers of plum mixture and ice-cream and top finally with a little mixture.
  7. Serve chilled.
