Ingredients


200 gms paneer (cottage cheese) (unsalted)
3 to 4 tbsp powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1 small can (450 grams) pineapple slices
glace cherries for decoration

Method
  1. Knead the paneer with the sugar very well.
  2. Add the vanilla essence and mix well.
  3. Drain the pineapple slices.
  4. On each pineapple slice, press the paneer mixture (sandesh) so as to form a ring of about 12 mm. (1/2") thickness.
  5. Decorate with glace cherries.

Tips
  1. Note : If you prefer the taste of saffron, use 1/2 teaspoon milk masala instead of the vanilla essence.
