A kheer recipe with a nice twist. Petha kheer is prepared by cooking milk with grated petha or gourd , sugar and cardamoms. An unique , quick and simple petha kheer recipe with an irrestible taste.

1 kg full cream milk
100 gms ash gourd
2 tbsp chopped mixed nuts

  1. Grate the petha and add to the milk and mix well.
  2. Bring the milk to boil and cook till milk reduces to 1/2 and becomes thick.
  3. Add the nuts and mix well.
  4. Serve hot or chilled.
