Peaches, blended with custard and brandy topped with whipped cream and garnished with grated chocolate.

Ingredients



For the peach mixture
1 small can (225 grams) peaches
3 tsp brandy (optional)
3 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 tbsp thick curds (dahi)
3 tbsp custard powder
500 ml milk
2 tbsp brown sugar
150 ml whipped cream

For the decoration
extra whipped cream
grated plain chocolate

Method
  1. Drain the peaches and liquidise them with the brandy, lemon juice, vanilla essence and curds. Keep aside.
  2. Mix the custard powder in 1/2 cup of cold milk. Boil the rest of the milk with the brown sugar. When the milk starts boiling, add the custard powder, cook for 1 minute and cool.
  3. Mix the cooled custard with the peach mix.
  4. Fold in the whipped cream into the peach mixture.
  5. Pour into the individual dishes. Refrigerate till set.
  6. When you wish to serve, decorate with extra whipped cream and grated chocolate and serve cold.

Tips
  1. You can also set this dessert in tall fluted glasses.
  2. VARIATION : PEACH FOOL WITH FRUITS :
  3. Pour the peach mixture over fresh fruit pieces, put to set in tall glasses and serve chilled.
