Ingredients


1 large can (850 grams) peaches
1/2 tsp cinnamon (dalchini) powder
3 tbsp raisins (kismis)
4 tbsp brown sugar
50 gms (2 oz.) plain flour (maida)
25 gms butter
100 gms (4 oz.) fresh cream

Method
  1. Drain the peaches and arrange on a baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle the cinnamon powder, raisins and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar over the peaches.
  3. Apply the butter to the flour and add 1 tablespoon of brown sugar. Sprinkle over the peaches.
  4. Bake in a moderate oven at 180 degree C (350 degree F) for 1/2 hour.
  5. Beat the cream and spread over the pudding. Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar on top.
  6. Serve immediately or after melting the brown sugar by baking in a hot oven at 200 degree C (400 degree F) for 5 minutes.
