A light and aromatic spread made of low-fat curds, parsley, garlic and spring onion greens, the Parsley Yoghurt Spread is a and protein rich recipe that is good for the heart and for controlling cholesterol. It can be served as an alternative to chutney or as a dip for finger foods.

Preparation Time:     Makes 0.50 cup

Ingredients

1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
1 cup low-fat curds
1 tbsp finely chopped spring onion greens
1 1/2 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
salt to taste

Method
  1. Hang the curds in a muslin cloth for 15 to 20 minutes or till all the water from the curds gets drained out and the curds turn thick.
  2. Add all the remaining ingredients to this hung curd and mix well.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and use as required.

Great healthy dip. Parsley and spring onions go well with curds. The dip has a lovely hint of garlic.

refreshing and very creamy! the parsley adds a distinct flavour which I loved. Great idea!
