Fruits are the natural source of fibre, vitamins and minerals. If a variety of fruits are blended together flavored with coconut and fresh cream, a glass of this drink would not suffice. Let not diabetes be the reason for you to say no, but enjoy this amazing glass of papaya passion. Papaya are good source of fibre, vitamin a and c. Naturally sweet, papaya makes this drink very healthy. Combines well with oranges without any added sugar/ sugar subs. Serve it chilled to relish the most. Select a ripe papaya for the best flavour.

Makes 4 glasses

Ingredients

3 cups papaya cubes
1/2 cup orange segments
2 tbsp freshly grated coconut (optional)
8 to 10 ice cubes

For The Garnish
4 tbsp papaya balls
2 tsp low fat cream

Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients together and blend in a mixer till smooth.
  2. Pour into 4 individual glasses and serve each glass garnished with 1 tbsp of papaya balls and ΒΌ tsp of cream.
  3. Serve immediately.

Handy tip:

  1. Choose a well ripe papaya that sweet in taste, however if the papaya is not sweet ad sugar substitute as required.

I make this almost every alternate day for breakfast. Its really healthy and gives that added energy boost required for the day! Papaya is not particularly popular but this recipe gives a moderately tasty way of consuming the healthy fruit.so, Thanks!
