A brilliant combination of cottage cheese, peppers and spring onions comes together in the Paneer and Capsicum Hot Dog Roll, making it a treat that is sure to excite the taste buds. Ingredients

4 hot dog rolls
melted butter for brushing

To Be Mixed Into A Filling
1 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese)
1/2 cup finely chopped coloured capsicum (red , yellow and green)
1/4 cup finely chopped spring onion ( whites and greens)
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/4 cup grated processed cheese
1/2 tsp green chilli paste
salt to taste

Method
  1. Divide the filling into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
  2. Slit each hot dog roll horizontally into 2.
  3. Brush the inside of each hot dog roll with a little melted butter and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°c (360°f) for 5 minutes.
  4. Stuff a portion of the filling on each baked hot dog roll and again bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°c (360°f) for another 5 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately.

Simple, quick and healthy recipe, with oodles of protein packed paneer. Capsicums add a dash of colour. Perfect for your growing childs hunger pangs.

Nice tasty sandwich with paneer and mushrooms. You can skip the schezuan sauce and add any spicy sauce.

This ones an absolutely yummy snack item, kids and adults loved it equally! The schezwan sauce compliments the oriental filling. All in all, Spicy submarine is a good, quick recipe!
