Paneer kheer, watch your kids lick off this delectable kheer from their bowls, up to the last drop! i’ve added paneer not only to boost the protein content but also to bring about this lovely texture! nuts add on to its protein content as well. Cornflour makes it thicker and creamier. Serve it hot or cold as per your child’s liking.

3 cups milk
1 1/4 cups grated paneer
4 to 5 tbsp sugar
2 tsp cornflour dissolved in 1 tbsp milk
a pinch cardamom (elaichi) powder
4 tbsp chopped mixed nuts (cashewnuts ,
almonds (badam) and walnuts)

For The Garnish
1 tbsp almond and pistachio slivers

  1. Combine the milk, paneer and sugar in a broad non-stick pan and simmer for about 10 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  2. Add the cornflour mixture and stir continuously till it thickens.
  3. Add the cardamom powder and mixed nuts, mix well and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve chilled garnished with almonds and pistachios.
