A mildly flavoured vegetable made with very soft paneer.

Ingredients


250 gms fresh paneer (cottage cheese)
3 tbsp fresh cream
1/4 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp milk
2 tbsp ghee

To be ground into a paste
1 large onion
1 tbsp cashewnuts (kaju)
4 cloves of garlic (lehsun)
6 mm. (1/4") piece ginger (adrak)

Method
  1. Cut the paneer in very small cubes. If it is not soft, keep it in warm water for at least 2 hours.
  2. Heat the ghee and fry the paste. Add the garam masala and fry again.
  3. Add the paneer, cream, milk and 2 tablespoons of water and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Serve hot.
