Paneer In Manchurian Sauce

A great combination of paneer and manchurian sauce.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups sliced paneer (cottage cheese)
1 tbsp chopped green chillies
1 tbsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 tbsp chopped ginger (adrak)
1 tbsp (leveled) cornflour
4 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp chilli-garlic sauce
2 pinches of sugar
1 tbsp refined oil
refined oil for frying

Method
  1. Fry the paneer lightly in oil.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a separate vessel and fry the chillies, garlic and ginger for a few minutes.
  3. Mix the cornflour in 1 1/2 teacups of water and add to the mixture.
  4. Add the soya sauce, chilli-garlic sauce and sugar and cook until the mixture becomes thick.
  5. Add the paneer and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Serve hot.

Tips
  1. Variation : Potatoes In Manchurian Sauce :
  2. Omit the first step and instead of paneer use 20 very small boiled and fried potatoes.

The manchurian sauce is a nice tangy sauce and can go with any Chinese vegetable.
