Preparation Time:     Makes 2 servings

Ingredients
1/2 cup low-fat paneer (cottagte cheese) cubes
3/4 cup soaked and boiled hara chana (dried green peas)
5 tbsp finely chopped spring onions
1/4 cup finely chopped tomatoes
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies

To Be Mixed Into A Lemony Dressing
2 tbsp lemon juice
salt and to taste
1/2 tsp black salt (sanchal)
1/2 tsp roasted and coarsely crushed cumin seeds (jeera)

For The Garnish
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients for the salad in a bowl, add the lemony dressing and toss gently.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Serve chilled garnished with coriander.

A good Indian style salad. The black in the dressing really gives this salad a good taste twist.

Excellent healthy salad of paneer and hare chane. The lemon juice gives a nice tang and black salt has a nice taste.
